The SIBF Artist Brass Ensemble and SIBF Low Brass Ensemble was formed to open SIBF, showcasing most of the brass section from the Sydney Symphony Orchestra*, alongside SIBF students and featured SIBF interstate and internatinoal artists:

Euphonium: Scott Kinmont*
Tubas: Steve Rosse*, Tim Buzbee (MSO)
Percussion: Mark Robinson
Conductor: Ronald Prussing*
SIBF 2013 LIVE CD showcases a small collection of highlights from Sydney's biggest brass of 2013. This recording highlights the energy of the live performances at SIBF in heritage Australian Hall, without edits and without computerised manipulation. SIBF is all about presenting new concepts for brass through commisssions and world premieres, brass music education, and highlighting Sydney's brass community alongside the best from around the world. This CD serves as a souvenir of the event and a chance for those who missed out to hear the energy and innovation of SIBF. Live.
