Bassist Harry Salotti has performed in the Philadelphia and Atlantic City areas on the tuba and bass. Some of his credits include: Barnum; Chicago; The Seacoast Brass; The Bay Atlantic Symphony; Randy Newman at The Mann Music Center; Jimmy Dorsey and Guy Lombardo Orchestras; and the soundtrack to the PBS documentary Prisoners among Us. Harry has toured Italy several times with the Atlantic City Jazz Band, and his 2006 CD, Full Swing Ahead, was nominated for ITEA’s Bobo Award for Jazz and Commercial Music. As a composer, one of Harry’s projects, Etudes with Style – Music for the Tuba, won the 2003 ITEA Tuba Etude Competition. Harry is also a Music educator.
